Levels of Play: Recreational and Competitive Ages: 16 to Master Senior Genders: Mixed Location: Ramsey Lake, 506 Elizabeth St Times: Monday to Friday, 6am, 7:am, 6pm This group has been in operation for 15 years. They offer Learn to Row Programs, Recreational, Competitive and Adaptive Programs. They also offer High School and University Programs. They are a rowing club that offers rowing opportunities for the novice as well as the experienced rower. Whether it is for fitness or fun, camaraderie or competition, the club invites you to try one of their Learn to Row sessions. If you own a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, and a smile, you are all set to learn this sport. The club does not hesitate to say "Come row with us!" The SRC hosts four regattas on Lake Ramsey each season:
Members also regularly travel throughout the province to attent regattas, and occasionally travel to other provinces to compete. What an incredible way to see the sights, have a great time and meet new people! Members row in singles, doubles, quads and eight man crews. |
